KWF Donor Terms & Conditions

Introduction:

 

Thank you for considering a donation to the Kevin Winter Foundation (KWF). Your support is vital to our mission and activities. By making a donation to KWF, you accept these Terms and Conditions.

Donation Acceptance:

 

KWF reserves the right to refuse or return any donation at its discretion, especially if it is suspected that the donation may contravene our values, policies, or the law. We are committed to ethical practices and legal compliance in all our activities.

Donation Refunds:

 

Donations made to KWF are generally non-refundable. However, if you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to KWF, please contact us. We will handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis within a reasonable time frame.

Tax Receipts:

 

KWF will provide receipts for tax purposes for all donations for which tax receipts are applicable and requested. It is the donor’s responsibility to provide accurate information and to report the donation to their local tax authorities according to the local laws and regulations.

Use of Donations:

 

Donations will be used to support KWF’s mission and activities, including, but not limited to, community projects, research, and advocacy. Donors can specify if they want their donation to support a particular project or program. KWF will honor the donor’s preference whenever practical and possible. In instances where the project is fully funded or cannot be completed, funds may be redirected to where they are needed most.

Recurring Donations:

 

If you have authorized a recurring donation, you may cancel this at any time by providing written notice to KWF. We require reasonable notice to process the cancellation to ensure that no further donations are collected.

Acknowledgment of Donations:

 

Donors will be acknowledged in accordance with their wishes. This may include public acknowledgment, such as listing in annual reports or on our website unless the donor has expressly requested anonymity.

Compliance:

 

Donors are responsible for ensuring that their donations comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to anti-money laundering laws and sanctions regulations.

KWF reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Donation Terms and Conditions at any time. We will post any changes on our website, and we encourage donors to review these terms periodically.
