KWF President Attends WAYLE Forum 2026

West Africa Youth Leadership and Empowerment (WAYLE) Forum 2026, organized by IAYSP West Africa, gathered young leaders, educators, innovators, and peace-builders from across the region for two days of dialogue, inspiration, and practical engagement around youth empowerment, peace, innovation, and sustainable development.

Highlights included the launch of the Synergy Program 2026, the introduction of the Fund for Education and Social Entrepreneurship (FEES) Fund, and the recognition of new Youth Ambassadors for Peace—all reflecting a shared commitment to equipping the next generation of West African changemakers.

At the WAYLE Forum 2026, Fortune Winter, President of the Kevin Winter Foundation, delivered a message of encouragement to young people across West Africa, urging them to see this moment as a time of real opportunity and responsibility. He spoke about Africa’s immense youth potential, the challenges many young people still face, and the emerging possibilities created by technologies such as artificial intelligence and blockchain. Most importantly, he reminded participants that technology alone does not change nations—transformation happens when young people choose to use these tools to solve real problems and build for the future.
