Youth and Students for Peace — Africa Region
Building the Next Generation of African Leaders

KWF-supported youth leadership programs continue to make strong progress during the second quarter of 2026. Through the Cheon Il Guk Citizen Academy (CIGCA), young missionaries carried out a 120-Day Pioneering Mission across five regions of Africa, reaching more than 1,400 people in June through assertive outreach, Divine Principle education, youth workshops, service projects, and community engagement.

At the same time, the Hyojeong Rang Africa (HJRA) leadership academy in Zambia continues the development of young leaders through missionary work, academic study, spiritual discipline, technology training, communication skills, and practical leadership experience. The 1st Class Cadets were dispersed into mission fields, starting their new leadership roles. The 2nd Class advanced as emerging field leaders, while the 3rd Class completed the final stage of its foundational Basic Training Course.

Together, CIGCA and HJRA are helping young people grow in faith, discipline, perseverance, teamwork, and attain the skills needed to serve their communities and become future leaders across Africa.
