My parents did not want me to go because I was sick… Even though I was still feeling very ill, I chose to continue with the mission. Some people’s attitudes discouraged me and made me think about giving up. However, I reminded myself that giving up was not the solution. I had promised Heavenly Parent that I would dedicate one year of my life to serving Him… The Academy helped me grow and taught me that faith and perseverance are essential to overcome challenges and fulfill one’s mission.
